Finally a specially-designed Battery Tray to safely secure your battery in a 1965-66 Mustang. This is a much safer alternative than the stock style hold down clamp.
Most of today's batteries do not have a side lip to accept the stock 65-66 side hold down clamp. This tray allows you to safely secure your battery the way it should be.
It fits in the stock location, exactly like the original tray. The tray is the correct size for the popular Group 24 Battery.
This is the same design that was used on all 1967 and later models. This tray uses the Top Clamp and Side Bolts from these models. This kit includes the newly designed Battery Tray, Top Hold Down Clamp, and 2 Hold Down "J" Bolts. These parts may also be purchased separately.
