This Mustang (and other Ford) Timing Chain cover is for use with the aluminum water pumps, which were used on 64 1/2-65 Mustangs with 260 and 289 engines.
Made from high quality die-cast aluminum.
Concours correct. Includes molded-in timing pointer.
Please note that this cover does not have an oil filler tube hole that was used on early production cars that did not have an oil fill tube in the valve cover.
